Music in the Gardens

Music in the Gardens gives 100% of the event’s profits to charity. Each year, six main charities are selected from applications to receive a split of 50% of the profits plus the income derived from nightly bucket collection and programme sales. The remainder is donated in various directions.

Attached please find 3 information sheets concerning Music in the Gardens, 2017 - the largest event run by Rotarians in the UK.

Being a steward for Music in the Gardens is not a particularly onerous task but is one of the ways an individual (not necessarily a Rotarian) can contribute towards the four-night programme and help to make it a successful and safe event. Not only was it an opportunity to work with members of Rotherham Sitwell but also to enjoy exchanges with other Rotarians and their “conscripts”.

Music In The Gardens is a charity fundraising event held over four summer evenings in Sheffield's Botanical Gardens. Each night sees a mixture of local and national talent take to the stage to deliver an unforgettable series of summer picnic concerts. Whether it's a romantic picnic for two or an evening with family and friends, this could be the perfect night for you!
